Coach Jim Morrissey Coaching and Athletic Career Accolades 

• Patriot League Coach of the Year (2013): Named the top coach in the conference while serving as the  head coach of the Holy Cross Crusaders. He was the first men's lacrosse coach in Holy Cross history to  earn this honor, guiding the program to its most single-season wins since 1988 and its first-ever victory  over Navy. 

• Northeast 10 Coach of the Year (2018): Named top coach in the conference while serving as the head  coach of the College of Saint Rose Golden Knights. First men’s coach in Saint Rose history to earn this  honor while leading them to their first winning record as well as first playoff berth in school history.  

• OHSL Division II Coach of the Year (2009): Earned Coach of the Year honors at the high school level  while serving as the head coach at Marcellus High School (2009–2010). 

• NCAA Division I Assistant Coaching Success: 

o Syracuse University (1999–2000): Helped coach his alma mater to an NCAA National  Championship in 2000 and a national runner-up finish in 1999. 

o Cornell University (1998): Served as an assistant coach for the Big Red. 

o Hobart College (2007–2008): Served as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator. Staff  named ECAC Coaching Staff of the year 

• All-Star Game Coaching: Selected as the head coach for the Section III Senior All-Star games in both  2009 and 2010. He also served as the offensive coordinator for the silver medal winning Central Region  lacrosse team at the 2010 Empire State Games. 

Collegiate Athletic Accolades (Syracuse University, 1993–1996) 

• Two-Time NCAA National Champion: Won national titles with the Orange in 1993 and 1995. • Two-Time All-American: Earned USILA All-American Honorable Mention honors in both 1995 and  1996. 

• Team Captain: Served as a tri-captain during his senior season in 1996. 

• North-South All-Star: Selected to play in the prestigious 1996 North-South Collegiate All-Star Game (Elected Team Captain) 

• All-Time Leaderboards: Concluded his playing career with 176 total points (106 goals, 70 assists),  ranking among the top 20 in Syracuse's historic career scoring record books. He finished second on the  team in scoring as a senior with 63 points. 

Professional Playing Career 

• National Lacrosse League (NLL): Played for the Syracuse Smash from 1997 to 1999. • Major League Lacrosse (MLL): Played for the Rochester Rattlers from 2001 to 2003. 

High School & Prep Achievements 

• Skaneateles High School: Graduated in 1991 as the school's all-time leading scorer (187 goals, 125  assists, 262 points) and the program's first-ever US Lacrosse High School All-American. He was a three sport star, also achieving All-State honors in soccer and ice hockey. 

• Italian American Club Award: Named the top senior student-athlete in Onondaga County in 1991. • Trinity-Pawling Prep School (1992): Earned All-American honors and the New England Division I  Lacrosse Association MVP. 

• Lettered in Ice Hockey where he was the team’s leading scorer. All New England Prep for Soccer.  Inducted into the Trinity-Pawling Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
